This is a classic sandcast sterling silver Navajo cuff bracelet, a traditional style from the Navajo-Diné silversmithing tradition in the American Southwest. The overall aesthetic is bold, geometric, and full of traditional Navajo symbolism (the openwork and stamps often evoke nature, weather, or spiritual motifs). It presents a large, high-domed oval turquoise cabochon set in a raised bezel with twisted-rope (wire) detailing framing the stone, a hallmark Navajo touch. Lone Mountain turquoise is one of the most prized American turquoise sources precisely for these high-grade spiderweb specimens; the matrix is often described as “water web” or fine black lines, and the color is stable. The stone is supported by thick, substantial construction typical of older or traditional sandcast pieces, sturdy and meant for everyday wear with heavy stamping and file work: parallel-line “feather” or “rain” patterns, dotted borders, and a prominent central sunburst/rosette stamp. Smooth spherical silver bead accent on the lower left for balance and visual interest.
