Dough Bowl

11″ x 20″

Ambrose Atencio comes from a family of traditional potters. He began making pottery at the age of fifteen. His cousin Robert Tenorio was one of his early mentors, along with other relatives and his grandmother Crucita Tortalita. He started watching Robert Tenorio, Arthur Coriz and Hilda Coriz coiling clay and making pottery. He was very interested, so one of them handed him some clay and he began to make small dough bowl. He enjoyed this very much and he began to make more and more.
