John F. Aragon
John Aragon was born into the Acoma pueblo on November 24, 1962. He is the son of Florence Aragon, and learned the pottery making tradition from his grandmother, Lupe Aragon.
He has taken several awards, including ribbons at Santa Fe Indian Market, Gallup Ceremonial, and New Mexico State Fair.
He has been an active potter for nearly 20 years. His favorite part of working with clay: “Discovering new designs to work with.”
